Data Infrastructure for Genomic Research Platform

Flash Storage

Valencia Bioinformatics Center · 2023

The client needed a high-performance, low-latency storage system to process petabytes of genomic sequencing data. Analysis times were prohibitive with their traditional hard disk infrastructure. Our approach was to design a server architecture based on NVMe over Fabrics (NVMe-oF) with cutting-edge flash storage, creating a unified, high-speed data pool. The implementation included configuring redundancy protocols and a critical information recovery system with incremental snapshots. The result was a 92% reduction in data processing times and the ability to handle real-time research workloads, significantly accelerating scientific discoveries.

Our Story

Digital Memory Architecture

From a vision to today's critical infrastructure.

Founded in 2018, Memollion emerged from the need to redefine data storage architecture. Our first milestone was the development of an information recovery protocol that reduced latency times by 70% for critical enterprise environments.

In 2021, the adoption of cutting-edge NVMe flash storage technologies marked a turning point, allowing us to scale and serve clients in financial and research sectors. Today, our server network is synonymous with resilience and speed.
