Data Infrastructure for Genomic Research Platform
Flash StorageThe client needed a high-performance, low-latency storage system to process petabytes of genomic sequencing data. Analysis times were prohibitive with their traditional hard disk infrastructure. Our approach was to design a server architecture based on NVMe over Fabrics (NVMe-oF) with cutting-edge flash storage, creating a unified, high-speed data pool. The implementation included configuring redundancy protocols and a critical information recovery system with incremental snapshots. The result was a 92% reduction in data processing times and the ability to handle real-time research workloads, significantly accelerating scientific discoveries.
